Dana / Rotting Jewels

The named, locatable origin of the internet-era Process synthesis — reported as its source, never laundered into fact.12

Documented connection she stands on

Dana (@DanaDooDah), who runs the YouTube channel “Rotting Jewels” and the podcast What Is “The Process”?, describes her work as “an amalgamation of almost 2 years of active research.” Two things under her are independently documented and not original to her: the Process Church’s descent into Best Friends Animal Society (Kanab, Utah, 1991), and the 1972 Toronto grant — the Process’s Toronto chapter received $25,900 in federal Local Initiatives Program money for its drop-in centre, a grant that Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau defended in the Commons on 22 March 1972 as given “in good faith to people who seemed to be engaged in doing some good work.”

Asserted intent — attributed and graded

Her throughlines are hers, stated as such and not adopted: that the Process never genuinely disbanded and Best Friends is an intelligence-operation rebrand; that the Process is an MK-ULTRA / Louis Jolyon “Jolly” West front; that a Crowley → Parsons → Hubbard → Process “moonchild” lineage runs through it; that the Process memoirist Timothy Wyllie is a disinformation agent; and extensions into Trudeau, the Vatican, RFK, and Candace Owens. These are conspiracy-network claims; the documented core she stands on is real, but her framing consistently runs stronger than the documentation, and the two are kept apart.

The extensions, tested — findings, not dismissals

Each of her further threads was searched for a documented substrate rather than dismissed by association:

  • Trudeau / Canada — IN, with the layer kept straight. The grant is documented. Dana’s word for it is “collusion”; the record does not support that word. It shows a routine community grant defended bureaucratically, and the Process’s own insider (Wyllie) framing the application as deceiving the government — “carefully bending the facts.” Connection (the grant) is documented; intent (collusion) is her gloss. It is deception, not collusion, per the record. (The separately-documented Canadian MKUltra history — Cameron, the Allan Memorial — has no documented tie to the Process; joining them is a conflation, flagged on the Cameron node.)
  • Vatican — searched; no documented connection found. The only real Rome fact is mundane (the de Grimstons rented a basement in the city while scouting a European headquarters, c. 1968); nothing ties the Holy See to the Process. Her Vatican assertion is posed as a rhetorical question with no named source.
  • Candace Owens / Scientology — searched; no documented connection found. No reputable source ties the Owens family to Scientology.
  • RFK — searched; no documented connection found tying her RFK material to the Process/MKUltra rail.

These are reported as findings — searched, and not found — not as dismissals by prior. Her one intent-edge onto the documented rail (the West front) is recorded above as her attributed claim and nothing more.

Held-open

The Toronto LIP grant is cited at $25,900 (TVO); some retellings round differently. Kept open.
