Rudolf Steiner
The second great schismatic — out of theosophy over the enthroned child, and into an esoteric pedagogy of his own.123
Documented connection
Steiner led the German Section of the Theosophical Society as its General Secretary, then broke with it: he founded the Anthroposophical Society on 28 December 1912 and was expelled from the TS on 7 March 1913. The break turned on the Adyar leadership’s identification of Jiddu Krishnamurti as the vehicle of the coming World Teacher (the Order of the Star), which Steiner rejected, along with the dilution of Christian elements; roughly fifty-five of sixty-nine German lodges left with him. His Anthroposophy went on to produce the Waldorf schools — an esoteric account of child development in an educational idiom.
Asserted intent — firewalled
That theosophy (or Anthroposophy) produced a managed-child program through Waldorf pedagogy is not a claim the record supports; the documented facts are the schism and Steiner’s own doctrine. The Waldorf tie is noted as an adjacency into the education rail, not asserted as a directed instrument.
Held-open
The attached primary (Steiner’s own Statutes, Article 4) is the founding document of the 1923 General Anthroposophical Society — the Christmas Conference refounding — not the original 1913 society; the two are distinct events and the sources give the founding variously (28 Dec 1912 / the 2–3 Feb 1913 assembly). The 1913 expulsion date and the Krishnamurti cause rest on named scholarship (Paull); kept open pending a contemporaneous 1913 primary.
Role in the thesis
Two things at once: another break that disproves a single directed lineage (theosophy fissions again, this time over the world-teacher child), and a second esoteric route toward the enactment rail — the child as the thing an initiated doctrine organizes itself around, here in schooling. The recurrence is documented; the coordination is what keeps splitting apart.
